FULL TIME POSITIONS
ANKENY FAMILY WITH LITTLE BABY GIRL - FOUR DAYS A WEEK
Kate is 3 1/2 months old and is calm and relaxed. The parents describe themselves as organized, funny and outgoing. They strive to be active (always more of a challenge with a new little one). They would like a friendly family like relationship with their nanny and view this as a team partnership. They feel this can be achieved by open communication and mutual respect. Important qualities would be patience, compassion, respectfulness, and extreme love of children. The mother is a nurse anesthetist and has a rotating schedule. The work week would consist of four days each week, 7am - 4:30 or 5 pm. The schedule is given by the hospital two months in advance. Generally the day off is Friday, Monday , then Wednesday (in that order). Work days are always between M-F. $360 - 400 per week. Besides 2 weeks vacation, mother has extra time off during the year so there is a potential for additional paid time off. Start date - January 5th but can be flexible.
CLIVE FAMILY WITH FOUR BUSY SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN
Carter is a 11 year old dynamo who is always on the go and has never met a sport that he doesn't like. He likes to be busy and he does everything fast, which can be a problem with school work. Alexander is a 13 year old who likes to do his own things when he wants to do it, He has really matured this past year and needs to have someone encouraging but not a push over. Meredith is 14 years old honors student who strives for perfection. She likes to boss her two brothers at times. She is really fun to be around and is confident without being full of herself. Caroline is 17 years old and has her own license and car so is pretty independent. She helps take Meredith to activities as they go to Dowling Catholic school together. She is friendly and caring but like all high school students can be anxious and unsure at times. The hours are usually around 806 pm sometimes a later start at around 10 am or so if mother is in town she loves to take kids to school. (she owns a business with some travel.) The father works locally and has a 8-5:30 job so a parent is always home by 6 pm at the latest. Start date would be mid to end of December. $12 per hour around 32 hours a week usually.
TWIN 3 1/2 YEAR OLD TWINS IN NORWALK LOOKING FOR A WONDERFUL NANNY
Josh and Kendall Ann are 3 1/2 year old twins and have had the same nanny for three years now. She has been a wonderful part of the family and has been very appreciated during
her long stay with the family. She will be starting nursing school January 2nd. While the family is very sorry to see her have to move on, they also have really enjoyed her loving care
the last 3 years and wish her the very best in her desire to complete her degree. They are excited about finding the next special person to become a valueable and trusted part of their
family. The hours are Monday - Friday 7:30-5:30 most days. Salary around $500 per week. Start date would be January 2nd but could also do the last full week of December as a
possibility.
DES MOINES FAMILY WITH ONE FIVE MONTH OLD LITTLE BOY LOOKING FOR LOVING NANNY
Isaac is five months old and is a very happy baby. He is so far a text book baby his parents say and is growing by the minute. This professional, laid back family is very interested in education and development. They would love to have a nanny who is passionate about spending quality time with little ones and dedicated in working on age appropriate activities that help the child grow to their best potential. The start date is January 2nd but could start
December 1st for full time if needed. Hours would be appoximately 8 to 4:30 or 5 pm.
JOHNSTON FAMILY WITH TWO LITTLE BOYS LOOKING FOR A FAMILY FRIEND
Dru is four years old and Rian is 15 months. Dru loves cars, trucks, farm equipment - anything John Deere, Elmo, construction vehicles, etc. Loves books and being read to. Rian is a pretty happy go lucky guy. He is a good eater and very healthy. Very smiley and loves to try to do anything his brother does. Monday - Friday 7:30 - 5:30 pm or 7:45 - 5:45 pm. $500 per week. Starts - mid December - end of December.
WEST DES MOINES BUSY FAMILY OF FOUR
Olivia is 6 years old and is fun loving, creative, happy, great helper, loves playing outside, loves music and crafts, learning to read and write, plays soccer, basketball and loves softball. George is 3 1/2 years old. He is energetic, active, loves to play basketball on our court, plays baseball and football, loves to wrestle, does well with structure, likes music, learning his letters and to write, loves to play with big sister and little brothers. Joey and Jimmy are twin one year olds. Joey is happy, on the move, learning lots of new things and enjoys every minute of it, likes playing with balls and tries play basketball with his siblings. Jimmy is happy, on the move, likes to be in the middle of action, likes to compete with Joey, likes to play with balls and plays basketball with his big brother and sister. Parents are very involved with the children and loving this busy, fun time with them. Never a dull moment but really good children. Olivia is in school 9-4 pm and Georgie goes three morning a week 9-11:30 am. Hours are Monday - Friday 8-5 pm Salary $450 range. Start date 3-4 weeks. Current nanny, has been there 2 1/2 years and has loved it!
WEST DES MOINES FULL TIME FAMILY WITH THREE FUN LOVING BOYS
Hunter is 6 1/2 years old, Ryan 5 years and Jackson 2 years. Both Hunter and Ryan will be in school full time this fall. They are close in age and full of energy. They play very well together, they love sports, riding bikes and playing with each other. They are creative and come up with all sorts of creative "plans" during their playtime! Special favorites are artwork, computer time and helping with things around the house. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 - 5:30 pm. $10 hour. Would love someone with a teaching background or someone with several years of nanny experience. Start date - 2-4 weeks but could wait until end of December or later for the right person. Also could consider part time for the right person - for example maybe a four days week.
PART TIME FAMILIES
TWIN 1 1/2 YEAR OLDS IN WAUKEE LOOKING FOR A ENERGETIC PLAYMATE
Madison and Kalynn were born on 7-26-07 and are full of fun. They are excited to explore their world and love to play with each other. Very happy and outgoing, they love to learn and enjoy being read to, playing games and love attention. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8-1pm or if possible, 8-2 pm would be preferred. $10 per hour. January 5th - mid January start date.
WEST DES MOINES FAMILY OF THREE LOOKING FOR 1-2 NIGHTS PER WEEK
Don is in 2nd grade and is active, outgoing and playful. Grant is in 1st grade and is loving, playful and loves interaction. Both boys love games, puzzles, coloring, pre-tend games like building forts, hide-n-seek and love playing outside. Lidia is 3 1/2 years olds and is all girl. She loves to play dress up, have tea parties, play "house" and pretend. She is fun loving and loves her big brothers. The family is a very busy one. The father owns a business and entertains clients and friends often. The schedule would be one to two evenings a week. On a week that is two days, one would be during the week and the other on a Friday or Saturday evening. Need someone who has a flexible schedule during the evening hours. Pay would be $15 per hour.
URBANDALE - LITTLE BABY BOY WHO NEEDS AFTERNOON CARE
Little Zadok is one month old and is a very happy and content baby. Loves being held and talked to, very attentitive. The parents own their own business and have care during the main part of the day. They have a seperate private area/nursery set up for Zadok. The hours would be 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. but would consider 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. as well. Would like someone who would read regularly, even as an infant and that would work together in creating an age appropriate curriculum (daily routine, games, activities, outings, etc.) as he gets older. Looking for someone who is knowledgeable of safety procedures, observant, analytical, fun and creative. The willingness to be actively involved with their son. $12 per hour.
AMES FAMILY LOOKING FOR MATURE NANNY WILLING TO GET ON CHILDRENS LEVEL
William is 6 years old and is easy going and very inquisitive. He loves sports and active play. Enjoys music, and reading books. Elizabeth is 4 years old. She is happy and energetic. She is very
petite for her age. They both enjoy new experiences -love going to the library, outings and nature walks. Both have limited TV/video exposure. Schedule is Tuesday, Thursdays and Friday's 11:15
